1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShowMeOnMap (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ShowMeOnMap is an AI-powered geographic data visualization tool. You describe data in natural language, and the Service renders it on an interactive map. The Service uses third-party AI models and open data sources to generate visualizations.

3. Accounts and Authentication

You may sign in using Google, GitHub, or email magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or allow others to use it on your behalf.

4. Credits and Payments

The Service uses a prepaid credit system. Credits are purchased via Stripe and are non-transferable. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. Credits do not expire. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Circumvent rate limits or credit requirements
• Share or redistribute data obtained through the Service without proper attribution
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission

6. Data and Accuracy

Visualizations are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. The Service uses publicly available data sources (OpenStreetMap, World Bank, Census, USGS, etc.) and AI-generated analysis. Data is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Do not rely on the Service for critical decisions.

7. Shared Maps

When you share a map, it becomes publicly accessible via a unique URL. You retain ownership of your shared maps and can delete them at any time. By sharing, you grant ShowMeOnMap a license to display the map in the public gallery.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ShowMeOnMap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccurate visualizations.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits remain available if you return.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
